Mark Donohue
Mark Donohue
CEO & Founder

Mark has specialized in “impact” enterprises, “conscious capitalism” and “triple bottom line” economics for 30 years. His passion is to bring regenerative, healing and sustainable models to much-greater scale in our world.  He is expert in sales, strategy, design, teaching, consumer products and finance.

 

In January of 2019, LifeGuides, PBC, where Mark is Founder/CEO, received the Grand Prize in the prestigious “Abundance Impact Challenge” from Dr. Peter Diamandis, Singularity University and the Abundance 360 leadership network.

 

Our Mission: “Growing  a Platform for Caring People to do Extraordinary Good.”

 

Our Goal: Reduce struggle for 1B within 15 years.

 

In April 2019, Mark was appointed to Fast Company’s Impact Council, which is “300 leaders that will redefine the future of enterprise.”

In January of 2011, Mr. Donohue was honored as one of the "Top 100 American Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior," by the organization Trust Across America. 

 

He was Entrepreneur-in-Residence for over five years, and subsequently Senior Fellow in Social Innovation for three years, at Babson College, which is consistently #1-rated in the world for Entrepreneurship education.

 

Mark’s past roles have included: Chairman/Founder of a Silicon Valley $100M+ “impact” venture fund; Chairman/CEO of a 200-employee pharmaceuticals enterprise; President of a $100M revenue e-commerce company; CEO of a NASDAQ member Investment Bank, Professor of Entrepreneurship (adjunct), Technology Strategist for a $30B PE/VC fund group, and Board roles for a dozen businesses, including Chair of a 240-employee Internet-of-Things enterprise.

 

In the non-profit realm, he has served on Boards including: Babson College, the Social Venture Circle, The Temple of Understanding (USA’s oldest interfaith education organization), and as Treasurer of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution.

Derek is a serial entrepreneur and technology maven. With years of experience building businesses in the learning technology, training, research and intelligence industries, Derek brings a wealth of perspective into everything we do at LifeGuides. Derek sits on several advisory boards and is the active CEO of Scrimmage, a global mobile software company, focused on addressing personalized education for corporate learners as well as students of all kinds. Derek is a passionate and strategic leader and shows strengths in connecting the dots between people and opportunities.

Will is a Founding Partner of GrowthX Ventures Fund and GrowthX Academy, and founded the largest dating site of the 90s (now Match.com, of which he was CEO for a period), cookbookwiki.com. and yoyobrain.com. As Senior Strategic Advisor to the CEO, he brings his passion for mentoring early stage ideas and the next great entrepreneurs. At GrowthX, he and his team make seed-stage investments (35 to date), and work alongside founders to help them build and execute a market development plan.

Brian's career-to-date has been a learning-based journey with an intense focus on people, purpose, values, culture, leadership, and advocating capitalism as a force for good. Brian was a founding member and Senior VP of Operations at Jobing.com, one of the original online job boards, which he helped grow to over 350 employees and $38M in ARR over an 11-year period. He later became director of talent strategy & acquisition for P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner restaurants before joining forces with his co-founder, Max Hansen, to create the first purpose-based leadership search firm, Y Scouts, in March of 2012. In the summer of 2018, Brian doubled down on his commitment to leveraging business as a powerful force for good and joined the Arizona Chapter of Conscious Capitalism as its first President; a role that has now shifted to President Emeritus.

 

Brian is on the Global Board of Trustees of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., a member of the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, and the co-author of "Hiring on Purpose - How the Y Scouts Method is Revolutionizing the Search for Leaders". Brian's most important and cherished responsibilities are being the lucky father to his 2 daughters, Taylor and Riley, and the proud husband to his wife, Jackie. In his spare time, you'll find Brian practicing guitar and enjoying an occasional game of Texas hold ‘em Poker.

Linda has proven expertise in building content for behavior-change initiatives and developing, implementing and operationalizing training programs as part of a staff and client retainment strategy successful para-professional platform for a Fortune 100 company. She is an expert in building content for behavior-change initiatives and developing, implementing and operationalizing training programs. Throughout Linda’s career, she has deep experience in supervising, training and retaining para-professional teams. She became a licensed therapist in 1998, after earning a Masters degree in Counseling. In 2017, she is completing her PhD in Psychology with an emphasis on cognition and instruction.

George Bandarian II

George is the interim COO at LifeGuides responsible for managing and curating our product – the amazing guides who share their experience, empathy and authentic caring.  He also oversees software development and customer onboarding, all of which are aligned to deliver on the north star of Delight – customer and employee delight.

 

Prior, George was the President & CEO of AMI for over 15 years.  As a successful CEO, he grew revenues and value over 10X turning the company into a leading provider of business process automation, with notable clients such as SpaceX, Walt Disney Company, NBC Universal, Northrop Grumman, USC, County of Los Angeles and many others.  By selling workflow automation over the course of 15+ years, George gained incredibly wide and deep B2B vertical and horizontal market experience across many industries and sizes including Enterprise, SMB, Government, Education and Military.  Knowing he had a greater impact to make in the world, in February 2018 he negotiated a multi-million-dollar exit selling to a strategic buyer creating huge wins for all parties involved.

 

George graduated from USC’s Marshall School of Business, Greif Center for Entrepreneurship.  He was born and raised and happily living in Glendale, California.  He loves to love his wife Mariam and 2 boys Geo and Greyson.   In his free time, George can be found in deep meditation, practicing yoga, playing or watching sports, or learning about the latest in exponential technologies, especially A.I. and Robotics.

As a thought leader in Employee Experience and a pioneer in B2E (Business-To-Employee) Marketing, Stephan helps organizations transform their company culture by adopting a CX and brand mindset to increase employee attraction, retention and engagement.


Through his 20+ year experience building and leading teams, he strongly believes that in order to build a winning, inspiring and caring culture, a leader must place its collaborators at the center of his/her strategy.


He is very excited to be part of LifeGuides’ Executive Team to help its customers shape a culture of caring and put their employees at the heart of their HR strategy. Stephan leads our B2B and B2E engagement marketing efforts and works closely on CX with our product and client success teams.

Aaron is a veteran technologist and entrepreneur with almost 20 years of industry experience. Coding since the age of 12, he started out working with dot-com-era start-ups at 15 as the Internet exploded. Honing his product and architecture skills with startups and large enterprises. His experience spans e-commerce, ERP/CRM, mobile medical, cloud infrastructure, incubation/acceleration, enterprise consulting, Open-source and enterprise software development.

Debi Waldeck

Debi has spent three decades as a health and wellness entrepreneur. As a health entrepreneur Debi has helped thousands and has published three books, created the 'Saving Generation Next' preventative health program, introduced physicians to nutraceuticals, and is a past provider of continuing education credits.

Debi's passion for helping people led her to work with Business Interface, Inc., recrafting the job readiness curriculum for the City of Hampton's TANF program which resulted in increased job placement by those on welfare. Debi has worked as the Fundraising and Social Media Director for the New Horizons Regional Education Center and the New Horizons Educational Foundation raising over $250,000 in funds for student scholarships and honorariums.

Now, Debi begins a new and exciting chapter by joining LifeGuides, a public benefits corporation that will revolutionize the way people walk through life challenges and revolutionize the way corporations support their employees. Debi has a unique passion for helping people by ‘helping them help themselves with appropriate knowledge’. She always says, ‘if you aren’t finding the answer, then you need to ask a different question.’

Diane has spent more than 25 years as a practitioner and business development leader in the health and wellness industry with great passion for people, place and profit. She’s been an entrepreneur creating clinical wellness programs, worked as a national director of Life Quality for a global contract management company in Senior Living, and spent more than two decades offering whole person wellness consulting in the medical and senior living sectors.

Terrence Gatsby brings to LifeGuides a blend of transformational leadership, disruptive innovation, and corporate growth strategies. As a former CIO and CTO for several successful Silicon Beach startups, Terrence was responsible for technology and innovation to support the competitive growth of numerous startups. Before arriving in Silicon Beach, Terrence served as Senior IT Architect for the eastern portion of the US power grid, where he led the grid’s transformation to the world’s premier competitive wholesale electricity market and high-voltage electricity smart grid.


Terrence brings a wealth of experience in the software and high-tech industries, and has been instrumental in technical and business aspects of developing lines-of-businesses, products and teams across a range of industries.

Well Being Conceirge

Dave has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. He practiced as a clinical psychotherapist for 20 years, eleven of them specializing in crisis intervention and psychiatric emergencies. Dave is an expert at counseling and managing counselors, and in dealing with any situation that a Guide may need to "escalate" to our HQ for expert or legal review.

Mike is a socially minded entrepreneur currently based in Nashville. Philosophically, Mike believes that business exists first to serve the world and make it a better place. Profit is secondary but necessary for sustainability. He has launched and developed 9 businesses in 5 different industries, both B2B and B2C. Together bringing in over 100 Million in total sales revenue. He enrolled himself under the mentorship and influence of world-renowned thought leaders such as Tony Robbin, Peter Diamandis, Jay Abraham and many others.

Paul Temple

As a partner in the MWH Group, Paul Temple was an organizational culture and leadership consultant to a number of leading spiritual retreat centers, medical groups, financial services firms and socially responsible companies. He has since become a Partner in Prabhu Music USA, serving as manager and agent for some globally renowned musicians. He has an MBA from Babson College.

Paul is also a musician who has released albums with Deva Premal, Panache Desai and Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo. He currently performs as RadianceMatrix, offering Deep Peace Concerts with Tibetan Bowls, Flutes and Mantras.
